Saying Goodbye

Sasha
2001 - 2012

The time finally came that we had to make "the decision." We chose to spoil and love her beyond limits during her last week. Here is her point of view...

I helped Daddy work in the backyard by supervising.

I supervised Mommy while she washed the big green machine.

I got to enjoy the cold sweet treats!

Mommy and me would mediate by the big water bowl.

I watched all the hoomans get ready for the big "barks in the sky" day.

I visited with friends.

Daddy and mommy laid down a lot with me.

Mommy made me meals of Rice and Chicken- My FAVORITE!

I got lots of orange stick treats.

I got to lay in bed with mommy and daddy and watch a movie with them.

Mommy and daddy let me sleep with them.

I got a last treat of an ice cream cone.

Mommy and Daddy loved me BEYOND THE LIMIT!

We sadly said goodbye to her today. A video will be posted soon. Thank you everyone for being her friend. We will share more when we can see beyond the tears.

Dear Sasha,
You are one of the first dog i ever followed in Blogville, and you were our inspiration to start our own blog (along with big Honey).
You are beautiful and sweet and we wish you lots of ice creams and bounces over the rainbow.
It was so lovely meeting you and following your adventures,
All our love,

Although we never met Sasha, we read about her on Mango and Dexter's blog and wanted to stop by and pay our respects. We know of the heartbreak of losing our beloved friends and our hearts are with you. It looks like Sasha lived a life filled with love and joy.

oh Sasha. Your humans love you sooooo much. Even though it was one of the most difficult days for them, they made extra sure you had a special day and knew you were loved before giving you the most special gift they could ever give.

Mom's eyes are leaking because of all the love you got throughout your long life. She can only hope that I live as long.

RIP Sasha...I bet you are doin a lot of zoomies right now, whole and healthy again at the bridge.

What a wonderful way to say good-bye. You have given me ideas to use when our beloved Cooper is ready to make his trip (he is 14 years old). Bless you both at this difficult time.

Love, Nancy and Dozer and Cooper (friends of Mango)

We are going to miss you, Princess Sasha. Mama got lazy about letting us check your blog, but we've been following you ever since we discovered doggie blogs [mama being a Dane person at heart even though we're not Danes]. We know Sasha is young and healthy over the Bridge, surrounded by other Danes - including lots of mama's Danes - while she waits for her pawrents.

Oh princess! Momma and I are leaking all over that you had to go. Such a beautiful girl. We love to see a doggie who is truly cherished like you were and we thank your people for sharing that with the rest of us. You will be dearly missed but I hope you get lots of ice cream and presents on the other side.
Big hugs from moose & momma

I came over from Mango's blog. I am so sorry for your loss. I'm sure her last week was just a special as all the years you gave her. We had to make this same decision just a month ago and even though we are lucky to have Louie in our lives now we miss our sweet girl.

Run free our sweet girls......
